The Harley — the mural Franky finds carved into the Treasure Tree Adam on Elbaf. This is the giants' own record of the Void Century, the hundred years the World Government spent eight centuries trying to erase, and the whole thing is in one panel: Adam at the centre, longships and giants and fish-folk and ancient machines down one side, a lit-up modern city rising on the other, fire crossing between them.
Robin reads the text of it in the same chapter. Three chapters, three worlds — the First World ends in greed and forbidden fire, the Second is the void and the war, the Third is the one still coming. Two world wars behind, one ahead. Franky is the black silhouette at the bottom, horned helmet on, back to you, working out what he's looking at.
Flat folk-art shapes, muted blues and ochres, drawn like something painted onto a mead-hall wall a thousand years ago — which is exactly what it is meant to be. Wide format, built to run long across the top of a wall rather than sit square in the middle of one.
- Wide format, hangs horizontally
- 100% polyester fiber
- 4 reinforced metal grommets, one per corner
- Lightweight — hangs flat on pins, hooks, nails or rope
- Ships folded; steam or a warm iron on low takes creases out
